Palestine 3 Days from Amman

Day 1: Amman – Allenby Bridge – Mount of Olives & Jerusalem Old City

Pick-up directly from your door in Amman and private transfer to the King Hussein / Allenby Bridge crossing. After border formalities, drive up to the Mount of Olives for a breathtaking panoramic view across the golden skyline of Jerusalem. Visit the Church of the Pater Noster, renowned for the Lord's Prayer inscribed in over a hundred languages. Follow the traditional Palm Sunday route descending the hillside to the Garden of Gethsemane, shaded by centuries-old olive trees.

Enter the Old City through Dung Gate to visit the Western (Wailing) Wall, with views of Haram al-Sharif, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Dome of the Rock. Walk the historic Via Dolorosa tracing the Stations of the Cross to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the sacred site of the crucifixion, tomb, and resurrection of Christ. Continue into the heart of Bethlehem to visit the monumental Church of the Nativity, the revered birthplace of Jesus. Next, head to the peaceful pastoral sanctuary of Shepherd’s Field in Beit Sahour.

In the afternoon, explore the highlights of Modern Jerusalem. Take the opportunity to visit world-class cultural landmarks such as the vibrant Mahane Yehuda Food Market or the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial (subject to museum opening times). Complete the day with a relaxing drive through the New City of Jerusalem past major civic landmarks and neighborhoods.

Day 3: Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, Nazareth & Return to Amman

Depart Jerusalem and drive north through the scenic Jordan Valley to the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Arrive in Capernaum to explore the ancient synagogue where Jesus taught and the archaeological remnants of his adopted hometown. Ascend the peaceful Mount of Beatitudes, site of the famous Sermon on the Mount, and stop at Tabgha, celebrated as the location of the Miracle of the Loaves and Fishes. Visit the Church of the Primacy of St. Peter right on the shoreline.

In the afternoon, continue to Nazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus and today a vibrant cultural hub. Tour the Basilica of the Annunciation, featuring unique international mosaics and sacred art from around the world. Following the visit, begin the return journey back to Jordan via the King Hussein / Allenby Bridge border crossing, concluding with private drop-off at your door in Amman.
