Words From Our Friends
We will be using them again when we next cone to this area.
Our driver, Aladdin is a really great guide.
Punctual, knowledgeable and patient. Most importantly, he was a really safe driver.
They replied with an agreed price and secure payment link for an initial deposit and then payment on arrival. A late change forced on us by BA cancelling our flights, meant that some rearrangements were requested and agreed to swiftly. All communications throughout the trip were always quick and answered efficiently.
All the trips were started at pre arranged times when we were collected from the hotel - principally by Hisham. The car was clean, water and refreshments were provided and there was even wifi in the car. We were dropped off at the places we wanted to see where Hisham would either arrange a guide or we would wander. Hisham seems to know just about everyone in Jordan and maintains a healthy supply of Twix bars for customers and anyone he seems to see on the way. Hisham is also partial to any kind of Shwarma or cheese filled pastry. There were plenty of stops to take photos en route.
Customers may find that the occasional rest stop is arranged at a convenient Bazaar, where you can peruse the local goods. Its not a problem, enjoy it and remember that this is helping the local business community and not multi national Companies.
The local guide we met in Dana took us through a walk around the Village and into the Reserve itself, making us tea by a shady tree and feeding us facts about the wildlife diversity in the Reserve. This was all done at our walking pace and we were encouraged to stop and take photos.
In Wadi Rum the guide Hossain did a great job driving us around the Desert in a 4 wheel drive. We visited numerous places on an agreed tour. Refreshments were arranged and local knowledge passed on about the area.
We were always made to feel welcome and the tour exceeded all of our expectations. Trips started and ended on time and we never felt rushed.
We found Jordan to be completely safe and always felt at ease, even though the Region is having issues at the moment. I would recommend Jordanian Mappers and their staff - in particular Hisham as he was our main guide - to anyone wanting to travel to Jordan.
This product completely transformed how our team works. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a real improvement.
Throughout the trip, the team at Jordanian Mappers maintained excellent communication, ensuring that my friends and I had all our needs met. They went above and beyond to make sure we derived the most from the experience.
I wholeheartedly recommend Jordanian Mappers to anyone planning a trip to Jordan. Their commitment to tailoring the experience to your desires and their dedication to ensuring your satisfaction make them an outstanding choice for travel in this beautiful country.

FAQ
Are all tours and transportation services private?
Yes. All our tours and transfers are 100% private. Your vehicle and professional driver are dedicated exclusively to your party, allowing flexible departure times, personalized itineraries, and spontaneous stops along the way.
What types of vehicles do you provide?
We provide modern, air-conditioned vehicles including Full-Size Sedans (up to 3 passengers with luggage) and spacious 7-seater Minivans (up to 7 passengers).
All vehicles include complimentary onboard Wi-Fi and chilled bottled water. For Wadi Rum, we operate local 4WD desert Jeeps.
Do tour prices include site admission tickets?
Most of our private day tours include official entrance tickets and lunch boxes as listed in each tour package.
For multi-day packages, we recommend purchasing the official Jordan Pass before your arrival, which covers entry to over 40 sites across Jordan (including Petra and Wadi Rum) and waives the tourist entry visa fee.
How do airport transfers and the free Jordan visa work?
All multi-day packages include meet-and-assist service at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) in Amman. If you are staying two or more consecutive nights in Jordan on an organized package with us, our airport representative will assist you with the free Jordan entry visa arrangement upon arrival.
What should I pack and wear for visiting Petra, the desert, and local sites?
We recommend sturdy walking or hiking shoes for Petra, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), and a light jacket for desert evenings in Wadi Rum.
Modest attire covering shoulders and knees is recommended when visiting religious and local cultural sites. Don't forget swimwear and water shoes for the Dead Sea.
How can I book and pay for my trip?
You can book directly and securely online with credit card through our WeTravel booking platform with instant confirmation. For custom multi-day itineraries or private group tours, contact our team directly via WhatsApp or email to receive a personalized quote.
When is the best time of year to visit Jordan?
Spring (March to May) and Autumn (September to November) offer the most comfortable weather for outdoor hiking in Petra and exploring Wadi Rum. Jordan is a year-round destination, but these months feature mild daytime temperatures and clear skies.
Are local tour guides included inside historical sites like Petra?
Your private driver provides comprehensive transport and general local advice throughout your journey. By local regulation, on-site historical guiding inside monuments is handled by licensed local guides, which you can hire directly at visitor centers or pre-book through our specialized private guiding services.
